Mr. Forgrave:
Evolution is a theory... based on observations of fossils and other "discoveries" by the scientific community.... these scientists have built their theories on all of the research done by other scientists since Darwin first published his theory. I do not know of anyone who would argue with the theories have been constructed with other theories to be believable. Especially since every child in the USA has had the theory of evolution beat into their brains by the educational community since kindergarten.
While, I do not deny evolution has occurred... most people do not... I have yet to come across one member of the scientific community who can (or will) offer a theory of what was around before evolution began... after all according to the "evolutionary science" it had to start somewhere.
So assuming evolutionary theory is correct... where did the very first thing that evolved into everthing else over the past several billion years come from? And just how was it created?
When evolutionary theory can appropriately provide those 2 answers... then and only then may I begin to doubt the validity of creationism and my belief in a Supreme Being.
"where did the very first thing that evolved into everthing else over the past several billion years come from?"
That's another branch of science, Mr. Science Denier. There's still no scientific consensus on exactly how the first simple living cells got a foothold on earth almost four billion years ago, but the scientists working on this scientific research opportunity are not invoking your magic god fairy to explain it.
By the way Mr. Terrified of Science, would you like to describe your fairy's magic wand?
Or would you like to grow up and stop living in the Dark Ages?

"Especially since every child in the USA has had the theory of evolution beat into their brains by the educational community since kindergarten."
Wow, is that what you call science education? Beating the foundation of biology into their brains?
It would be an excellent idea to start teaching evolution at a very young age, especially since that's when the religious brainwashing begins. Unfortunately most students don't learn about evolution (the strongest and most important basic fact of science) until they're in high school, and that's only when they're lucky enough to have a competent biology teacher. By then many students are so god-soaked they're not able to understand anything. Apparently that's your problem, Mr. kychippewa. You know nothing about science. You don't even know what a scientific theory is (a theory is the highest level of understanding in science, higher than laws and facts, look it up.)

"So assuming evolutionary theory is correct"
What do you mean, assuming?
That's as stupid as saying "So assuming our planet's orbit around the sun is correct"
Look it Mr. Scientifically Illiterate, evolution is a basic scientific fact, the foundation of biology. Biologists don't "assume" evolution is true, they know it's true because of the massive powerful evidence for it, evidence you're too lazy to study and probably not able to understand. So instead you invoke magic. Pathetic.
Since you know nothing about science why don't you just shut up about it?

The burning out of control stupidity of science deniers. Explain something as simple as a scientific theory and they still don't understand. Christians seem to be proud to be uneducated morons.
ReplyDeletehahahaha too true, too sad, too rough to be said F2F but I'm glad someone has the balls to say it online.
One of the assholes actually quote-mined the definition of a scientific theory so he could still say "evolution is just a theory".
