"Religion is a cruel hoax sustained by miracles, fear, superstition and ignorance. Evolution is a science sustained by proven facts. Take your pick." was a comment written by somebody named Dean Carson at this New York Times website: Can you believe in God and in evolution at the same time?
The answer is of course not. Ask any Bible thumper or Muslim terrorist if he or she can accept our evolutionary relationship with the chimpanzee apes. They would become even more mentally disturbed than they already are if they figured out they are not special magical creations of their god fairy.
The religious idiots who think they accept evolution virtually always stick god into it somewhere, and that makes them evolution deniers because there's no theistic bullshit in science.
The choice is science or bullshit. The Christians of Idiot America and the terrorists of the Middle East have chosen bullshit.
Mr. Carson defines religion perfectly with "miracles, fear, superstition and ignorance". Especially ignorance. It's impossible for these superstitious morons to be evolution deniers (or polluters of evolution, the retarded theistic evolutionists) without going out of their way their entire wasted lives to know nothing. Every excuse ever invented has been used by these worthless assholes to avoid reading a science book or even just a website. If Jeebus isn't in it, they're not interested. Their stupidity burns and it can't be fixed.
"Darwin was the first to use data from nature to convince people that evolution is true, and his idea of natural selection was truly novel. It testifies to his genius that the concept of natural theology, accepted by most educated Westerners before 1859, was vanquished within only a few years by a single five-hundred-page book. On the Origin of Species turned the mysteries of life's diversity from mythology into genuine science." -- Jerry Coyne
