The airhead's defense of her fairy is not impressive.
Two examples:
"DNA consists of code, which requires a designer."
"The decisions we each make about God will determine our eternal futures."
No evidence. No logic. Just ridiculous wild claims.
She calls her fairy a designer. She says without explaining her reasoning "DNA was magically created out of nothing." She invokes our eternal futures, not caring she's only proving she's a gullible coward.
I feel sorry for any sane person who lives in Muncie.
*facepalm*
ReplyDeleteMy hometown.
But at least there will be "Good Without God" billboards down the road in Indianapolis soon. I can't wait for the fur to fly!
Ms. Lady Atheist of Muncie, Indiana, I thought this post might get your attention.
ReplyDeleteBy the way right now it's 34 degrees in Muncie. Where I live in Margate Florida it's 73 degrees. However both locations are equally god-soaked. Or perhaps Florida is worse. We have never had any pro-reality billboards here and we probably never will.
I replied: There is no human DNA without early hominid DNA and there is no early hominid DNA without early mammal DNA, etc etc etc The fossil evidence makes it pretty clear that DNA is the accretion of code through completely natural mechanisms, and the current DNA of many species has been well enough studied by now to validate those conclusions. No god necessary.
ReplyDeleteThe problem is, fairy tales are easy to understand and science is difficult. It also changes in light of new evidence, unlike fairy tales.
Even if there were a God, and even if he really did directly inspire the Bible, it's pretty clear from the resistence of today's Christians that he made the right choice telling early Jews a pack of lies rather than the difficult truth.
It's a shame that he didn't try, though. It would save a lot of you ninnies from having to stick your heads in the sand. Next time you go to the hospital and everyone is from some other country you have only yourself to blame. You're destroying America
p.s. we may have snow but we don't have Scientology headquarters!
