Teaching the Controversy = Teaching the Bullshit

Some comments I wrote at Teaching the Controversy by Clara Kim:

Clara Kim, just because you think there's some controversy about evolution (the foundation of biology and the strongest basic fact of science) doesn't mean there's some controversy about evolution. It only means you're an uneducated moron. The truth is there is no controversy about the basic facts of evolutionary biology, including the fact we have a close evolutionary relationship with the other modern ape species.

Clara Kim, you know nothing about science and you're not qualified to tell biology teachers how to do their jobs. Your opinion doesn't matter because you don't know what you're talking about. Grow up or shut up.

Clara Kim wrote "So, unless teachers are using the Bible to teach intelligent design, incorporating all of these theories into science lessons should not promote any particular religious belief."

Clara Kim, you're not just an uneducated moron. You're a pathological liar. "Intelligent design" are code words that mean "magical creationism" and it's identical to Bible creationism. You know that but you dishonestly say they're different things because you want to stick supernatural magic into our country's science education. That's makes you an enemy of America, equal to a terrorist. Dishonest morons like you don't have the right to tell biology teachers how to do their jobs.

"However, it's important to recognize the fact that creationism and intelligent design are not the same thing, and in no significant way does intelligent design promote religious beliefs."

You're a liar and you should apologize for it. What's the point of your dishonesty? Why spread lies about your childish religious beliefs when everyone knows you're lying? What do you expect your dishonesty to accomplish?

Apologize or shut up.

"Let their students run wild with their imaginations and let them learn how to formulate their own beliefs by creatively thinking while practicing discernment."

She thinks basic scientific facts are beliefs.

Hey Clara Kim, there's a poll on this website.

Should creationism be taught in Louisiana public schools?

YES - 2 votes.

NO - 87 votes.

Isn't that interesting? Apparently not everyone wants to destroy science education to defend their dead Jeebus like you do.

Take your theocracy to Iran, Clara. You don't belong in America.

  1. "By teaching their students the theory of evolution side by side with the theory of intelligent design, it does the fundamental job that is obligatory of public schools: to give their students the most information in order for them to make independent, sound judgments and decisions."

See that? "the THEORY of intelligent design". These shitheads don't even know what a "theory" is! There's no excuse for that. It's infuriating. A "theory" is not just "some idea someone put out there".

  2. She's another example for this quote:

There is a cult of ignorance in the United States, and there always has been. The strain of anti-intellectualism has been a constant thread winding its way through our political and cultural life, nurtured by the false notion that democracy means that "my ignorance is just as good as your knowledge."

  3. I just submitted this comment. Think it will get past moderation?

There is no "theory of intelligent design". A scientific theory is a hypothesis that has withstood testing. Intelligent design is based on magic, and cannot be tested at all. How much credibility can you hope to garner without even knowing what a "theory" is?

Also, why are you not content to pollute the minds of your own children, and leave mine alone? Science class is for science, not for thinly-veiled attempts at religious indoctrination.

  4. They're publishing all the comments but they are having technical problems so it might take awhile.

Don't forget to vote in the poll at the same website.
