Tonight is the first of three Obama/Romney debates. It doesn't matter who wins the debate because the election is over with. 270 electoral votes are required to win and Obama already owns 269 votes.
There are 7 toss-up states left and Obama will most certainly win 5 of those toss-up states but he needs to win only one. Romney needs to win all 7 toss-up states, which is about as likely as my being elected to be the next Catholic Pope.
I am, by the way, an economic conservative so I will be voting for the loser, Mr. Romney, who can't seem to stop making a fool out of himself. It's not easy being a Republican in Idiot America because virtually all Republicans are idiots, including the idiot I'm voting for. Romney is the best idiot the Republicans could have nominated. Four years from now the Republicans will nominate another idiot, making it easy for Hillary Clinton to win the 2016 election for president

Television is fast becoming obsolete because I was able to watch the debate live on YouTube.
What I got out of the debate was Romney won it. I was wondering if I thought that because I'm voting for Romney but then I noticed the Democrats who were interviewed after the debate were disappointed in Obama's performance.
To be fair to the president, he probably hasn't been getting much sleep lately. He is trying to campaign for president while being president, which are two full time jobs.
Will this debate and the two remaining debates give Romney a chance to win? And if Romney does win would that mean I could be the Catholic Pope some day?
In the debate Romney showed his love for free enterprise and that's why he will get my vote.
free enterprise: freedom of private business to organize and operate for profit in a competitive system without interference by government beyond regulation necessary to protect public interest and keep the national economy in balance
"Darwin was the first to use data from nature to convince people that evolution is true, and his idea of natural selection was truly novel. It testifies to his genius that the concept of natural theology, accepted by most educated Westerners before 1859, was vanquished within only a few years by a single five-hundred-page book. On the Origin of Species turned the mysteries of life's diversity from mythology into genuine science." -- Jerry Coyne

Some interesting stuff I found on the internet today. Also, some comments about the 2012 election for the American president.
