At Reddit I answered a question about religious stupidity.

"Ex-theists: What would you say brought you to your previous beliefs/religion?"

It's probably the same reason for most people who threw out religious stupidity. Brainwashing, aka child abuse. In my case it was ugly nuns from grade 1 to grade 8. "Christ died for your sins". I was forced to listen to that ridiculous nonsense thousands of times.

I threw out religion and I threw out the Magic Man because it's obviously a fantasy for feeble-minded cowards. Reality makes the god-soaked cry.

Not everyone has what it takes to grow up and throw out the bull-stuff. A brain is required.
