A Wall Street Journal article about global warming made a lot of Republican morons cry. I wrote this comment there.

"Sea level has risen by about seven to eight inches since 1900, with nearly half of increase coming since 1993."

I don't understand what motivates some people to deny what's obvious.

Some people want to throw out evolution because it conflicts with Genesis. That's a dumb reason to throw out science but at least they have a reason.

For this global warming thing there doesn't seem to be any reason to throw it out unless perhaps some people have a hatred for science.

I think even a child could figure out "Sea level has risen by about seven to eight inches since 1900, with nearly half of increase coming since 1993" is a problem.
