I asked why are there still creationists in the 21st century. This was the best answer.

Ignorance can be cured by education.  
Most creationists reject education.  
The ones that don't become atheists.  

Then, you have stupidity, which can't be cured at all. 

So: stupidity and rejection of education is the reason why there are still creationists in the 21st century.
