My favorite Amendment.

Constitution of United States of America 1789

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion" is the first clause of the first amendment of our Bill of Rights.

The 10 most important words ever written.

Our 3rd President, Thomas Jefferson, called these 10 words our "Wall of separation between church and state".

It's called the Establishment Clause. Americans must respect these 10 words until the end of time.
