If you look at the universe and study the universe, what you find is that there is no evidence that we need anything other than the laws of physics and the other laws of science to explain everything we see. There's absolutely no evidence that we need any supernatural hand of god. -- Lawrence Krauss, World-Renowned Physicist
There is probably no other notion in any field of science that has been as extensively tested and as thoroughly corroborated as the evolutionary origin of living organisms. -- Encyclopedia Britannica
FAITH. No one word personifies the absolute worst and most wicked properties of religion better than that. Faith is mind-rot. It’s the poison that destroys critical thinking, undermines evidence, and leads people into lives dedicated to absurdity. It’s a parasite regarded as a virtue. -- PZ Myers
Religion is the antithesis of science, an anesthetic for the mind that disables critical thought and encourages the acceptance of inanity as fact, and wishful thinking as evidence. -- PZ Myers

"A lot of good science is in the Bible. God is the origin of good science."

There is a lot of burning stupid in Idiot America. I'm still amazed when I see it.

"A lot of good science in the Bible. God is the origin of good science."
A Christian actually wrote this bullshit and actually believed it. Millions of Americans totally agree with it.

The rest of this post was copied and pasted for your entertainment.

Numerous scientific facts could be found in the Bible long before they became generally known to scientists.

There is a lot of science in the Bible. It is primarily teaching us about God and the Christian view of history, that says history is the working of God's purposes as explained in the Scripture.

The Christian world view of history also says that Christ is the main person of history, that all of history looks to Christ. His coming is the greatest and most notable event in human history. The Christian view of history says that God is moving all history toward a divinely planned goal. And every person has an ultimate appointment with God to determine his eternal destiny. God started it. God controls it. And God is bringing it to its conclusion.

Some "science"

The pre-flood population on the earth, from Adam to Noah, is determined using the Bible as the sole source of doctrine and knowledge. This illustrates authenticity of the biblical scriptures, showing that the book of Genesis alone contains the precise information that would allow any faithful reader to unlock the harmonious truth of the Bible. Use of modern algorithmic techniques allows one to track the population growth, verse by verse, from Adam to Noah, revealing a world of tens of billions on the Genesis Earth just before the flood.

The Flood. Modern geological and archeological evidence has been and continues to be mounted as seen in the rapidly deposited fossilized remains found globally. Research includes evidence of quickly buried antediluvian villages in various parts of the globe, containing scattered remains of Pleistocene animals.

Science has always been man's attempt to understand and organize their knowledge of the things of God. The Bible never was intended to be a science book or to contain the answers to everything. It is a Spiritual book that does give an answer to our Spiritual need. It does however contain "good science".Your opinion that religious belief is a step backwards or that it is illegal to have "bible stuff" in school textbooks is paradoxical and simply wrong.

Job:26:7"He strecthes out the northern sky over empty space, suspending the earth upon nothing."
Isaiah40:22"There is One who dwells above the circle of the earth."

Scientifically Accurate and from God not man. Man thought world was flat, hanging on a string, on a tortoise back and other crazy things. All a long the answer was right in the bible. Could have saved Columbus a trip if he would have just read the bible.
