A question for Christians:

There are about 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 stars in the universe, and about eight times as many planets.

Why did Jeebus choose this planet to get himself executed? Why not one of the other 8,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 planets?

Do you get my point, Christians?

Probably not, so let me explain.

The planet you live on is not a big fucking deal. Earth, and the human apes who live here, are as insignificant as one grain of sand in the Sahara Desert. Our planet is a speck of almost nothing. It's ridiculous to pretend a Master of the Universe would give a shit about us.

Christians, your death cult might have made sense in the Dark Ages, but it's obsolete now. Don't be afraid of reality. Stop being cowards, grow up, and fact facts.

"I can't believe the special stories that have been made up about our relationship to the universe at large because they seem to be too simple, too local, too provincial. The earth, he came to the earth, one of the aspects of god came to the earth mind you, and look at what's out there. It isn't in proportion."

  1. Just to anticipate the creationist answer "it had to happen somewhere" similar to the answer of us to the anthropic principle, there is also one little problem you have there is actually fewer planets than that, I assume you base that on our own solar system and the fact is that at most there is likely 2 times as many planets as stars, although this is still a large number.
