I don't understand why Catholics don't throw out Catholicism. If they have to belong to a religion there are other choices that don't have child abuse.
CATHOLIC FUCKTARD:
As a catholic, we believe the faith, and as a catholic I do not respect our leadership. These men who abuse and cover it up need to be purged and many others would agree. That does not mean that the faith is corrupt, but that leaders are corrupt. I am no papist taking everything coming from the Vatican as true, but I listen and reflect for they have shown themselves liars.
Why should catholics throw catholicism? Why not throw out the constitution and every other good thing about this country because politicians are corrupt liars as well. Leadership is not the voice of the people in a lot of cases, and if everyone would commit themselves to integrity we would be removing the rubbish and finding better leaders.
I WROTE THIS:
Thanks for your reply. You asked "Why should catholics throw catholicism?"
Here's one reason: When you put your cash in the collection plate it's used to pay the legal bills for numerous atrocities against children. Personally I would rather not subsidize these disgusting people.
By the way I used to be a Catholic. In 1967 I threw it out because I realized it's not really a religion. It's a business, a very lucrative business.
A few years later I threw out theism. These days I prefer reality which has the advantage of being interesting and real.
Fantasy or reality. Take your pick.
Being a slave who has to obey rules or being a free person. Take your pick.
THE CATHOLIC FUCKTARD SHOWED OFF HIS BREATHTAKING STUPIDITY WITH THIS BULLSHIT:
You were never Catholic. That's what you need to really come to grips with. At some point, you will.
I WROTE THIS COMMENT WHICH MIGHT GET VAPORIZED:
"Hold on, this is waiting to be approved by Religion News Service."
I was never a Catholic? That's interesting you would make that assumption even though you don't know me.
I spent kindergarten thru 8th grade at a Catholic school being brainwashed by ugly nuns. The brainwashing was very effective. I believed all the ridiculous Catholic fantasies.
What made me realize the Church is a business was when the pastor, two Sundays in a row, spent the entire sermon explaining why we needed to give more money to the wealthy Vatican. It's definitely a business and the customers are suckers.
I never learned a thing about science in that 9 year waste of time. Later when I studied science which I have been doing all my life, I realized the Magic Man never had anything to do. Therefore it's not real. Good riddance.
You want to throw out all of reality so you can live in your magical fantasy land. Fine with me. It's your wasted life. Nobody cares.
By the way unlike many religious people I don't make things up. When I wrote I used to be a Catholic that means I used to be a Catholic.
At some point I will? Will what? Throw out reality and replace it with ridiculous childish fantasies? That's impossible. Even if I had a lobotomy I wouldn't be able to pretend the Magic Man is real.
I see zero difference between the Easter Bunny and the magical powers of your dead Jesus. Equally childish and equally insane.
I've wasted enough time here. Your disease is incurable. Some people have what it takes to grow up but you don't have that.
