Viewing religion: Does Darwin’s evolution present any truth for religion?
"Did God use evolution to accomplish His purposes?"
No. Evolution is a natural process. God had absolutely nothing to do with it. This is not an opinion. It's a basic fact of science.
What are the religious implications?
Religions have to be thrown out. Science has repeatedly shown a god's magical powers were never necessary for anything.
