I would say "Welcome to the 21st century."
If this was a Muslim country the parents would murder the 15 year old.
If the parents are Christian fucktards, they would harass their child relentlessly.
I never met a Christian who wasn't a stupid fucking asshole.
If the parents are normal people, aka atheists, and their son or daughter said "I decided to worship the Magic Jeebus Man" the parents would say "Who cares?" or they might say "Welcome to the Dark Ages."
