The KJV is definitely the most accurate because of the manuscripts upon which it is based (i.e. the Majority Text). Most Modern translations are based off corrupt manuscripts (i.e. the Critical Text of Westcott-Hort). I'm not saying you can't profit from reading a modern translation. But you're better off sticking with the KJV for regular Bible reading in my opinion.

Jesus died on the cross to pay for all your sins and rose again (1 Cor. 15:3-4). The moment you place your faith in Him alone, ALL of your sins (past, present, and future) are totally forgiven and you are guaranteed everlasting life. Simply believe in Him alone to save you and you will go to heaven no matter what!
