The laryngeal nerve in human apes is 2 feet longer than necessary and in giraffes 15 feet longer than necessary.
Why?
Creationists can't explain it unless they want to admit their magical creator is a moron who can't do anything right.
Of course evolution explains it. Evolution explains everything we see when studying creatures living today and creatures who went extinct a long time ago.
The 15 foot laryngeal nerve in a giraffe, much longer than necessary, is only 2 inches long in a fish. This is evidence for the idea that land animals evolved from fish. Actually it's more than an idea. It's an obvious fact of science.
A brilliant young woman and Richard Dawkins explain why evolution has to work with what it gets. The video explains the very long laryngeal nerve in giraffes perfectly. I suggest watch it and understand it.
Magical creationism is bullshit. Science always wins because it works.
"If there's a paper in one of the big journals that discusses more evidence for evolution, there is a creationist hack somewhere who'll quickly write it up and lie about it." -- PZ Myers
Did some creationist asshole lie about this evidence? I looked it up. Of course at least one of the professional morons for Jeebus lied about it. They get away with their dishonest bullshit because their moronic customers only need an excuse to learn nothing.
Here it is. This video is fantastic.
"Darwin was the first to use data from nature to convince people that evolution is true, and his idea of natural selection was truly novel. It testifies to his genius that the concept of natural theology, accepted by most educated Westerners before 1859, was vanquished within only a few years by a single five-hundred-page book. On the Origin of Species turned the mysteries of life's diversity from mythology into genuine science." -- Jerry Coyne
