There is a church called "Christian Faith Church". I'm not sure where it is. It could be in Idiot America or it could be in Canada. It doesn't matter. This is an anti-science church. What a surprise!

Christian Faith Church thinks there is some debate about magical creationism and evolution. There is no debate. Evolution has been accepted by biologists as fact for more than a century and of course anyone who isn't a total retard knows magical creationism is bullshit.

They still want to call it a debate. For some reason their debate has only one side, the "Magic Man Did It" side. No biologist was invited. That makes sense. Why have facts get in the way of selling supernatural bullshit?

Some quotes from the article I read and my comments about it.

"A presentation on creationism and the theory of evolution was held at the Christian Faith Church (CFC) this weekend."

"Called, 'I Can See Clearly Now: Making Sense of the Creation/Evolution Question', and 'What About Dinosaurs?' the talks were presented by Gus Olsthoorn, a speaker from Creation Ministries International (CMI)."

"David Martins, an Associate Pastor at CFC, says the purpose of hosting the presentation was to challenge the preconception that evolution is a fact."

My comment: Of course evolution is the strongest fact of science. These assholes for Jeebus defend their moronic cult by being dishonest. Of course they don't realize they are dishonest. They're too fucking stupid to understand.

"To bring about the truth that we find in Genesis, that God created the heavens and the earth. To bring about the fact that evolution has never been proven."

My comment: There are countless thousands of evidences for evolution from several branches of science. Evolution is how the world works and every biologist knows this. They are obviously selling their bible bullshit, especially Genesis (aka god-did-it). This is typical Christian stupid.

"Martins believes it’s tragic that textbooks say evolution is a fact and there is not an open conversation on the subject."

My comment: They think it's tragic biology teachers are allowed to tell the truth.

"The presentation also highlighted the Bible's account on the development of nature."

My comment: Again they're thumping their disgusting anti-reality bible.

"Olsthoorn is a Technical Airspace Engineer at Bombardier Aerospace. Fascinated with the topic of creation and evolution for 40 years, he was given the opportunity to speak for CMI and has been working with them for four years."

My comment: Apparently they could not find a fake biologist to lie about biology so they have someone who is an engineer and these people are not scientists.

"Part of the presentation covered the relationship between science and religion. Olsthoorn says there is no empirical evidence that supports the theory of evolution, however, he says science and religion don't have to be mutually exclusive. "I believe that operational science, where you do experiments and prove things are true, is in harmony with Christianity. Theology at one time was called Queen of the Sciences. It was the idea God created everything in the universe and it was man’s right and privilege to uncover that."

My comment: More dishonesty. No evidence for evolution? Only an uneducated moron would say that. Their idea is if they throw out the science they don't like then science "is in harmony with Christianity" which is bullshit.

"Ph.D. scientists from many different fields including chemistry, biology, cosmology, and genetics, perform the research and write the information found in the CMI presentations."

My comment: This is bullshit. Scientists are not science deniers. They found some fake scientists who know nothing about science. These morons don't even know what science is.

"Several speakers working with CMI are giving presentations at churches and gatherings across the country."

My comment: This is an industry and it's lucrative. It's called "Lying for the Magic Jeebus Man." They have plenty of gullible customers who are willing to believe any anti-science bullshit that makes them feel good. Drop dead Christian scum.
