I asked a question at Yahoo and one answer was excellent.

Why do creationists get all their information about science from professional liars for Jeebus instead of from real scientists? Do they have no curiosity? Do they want to know nothing?

This answer made sense: "Because they need to know that their delusions are shared by others, in a nutshell. They are very willfully ignorant. That's the curse Christianity puts on most of its members: they think they already know the answer to all of life's big questions, so they don't feel the need to do any personal research and discovery on the subjects."

I can't imagine being that lazy. I'm curious about everything. But these people think they have everything figured out even though they're uneducated morons.
