Did the bible god use its male sex organs to have its way with a lady named Mary to make another version of himself? If yes, why? I'm trying to understand how the world's most idiotic religious cult was invented.
There were mostly complaints but one ridiculous answer explained the moronic myth in great detail. I could never make this stuff up. Here it is.
When GOD manifests into a body, it is through an indestructible kind of flesh called 'pneumatikos,' (Greek: 'spirit-based'). That is also the type of flesh that all humans will have during the next 'age.' This is the 'Original' upon which current human bodies are based, and into the direct likeness of which we were made. GOD frequently does this throughout scripture. Our current corruptible body is called 'psuchikos,' (Greek: 'soul-based').
What GOD was doing through Miriam, (the young Hebrew female better known by her Latin derived name, 'Mary'), is perform something He had never done before---manifest into the same kind of corruptible flesh current humans have, the 'psuchikos.'
Anything the copies can do, the Original can certainly do. If you actually read the narrative, Mary is informed of GOD's intention and gives her consent to be the vessel through which this remarkable, rare and prophetically predicted manifestation occurs.
Sounds just like a Greek myth. Rip-off.
