Every day 17 pedestrians are killed by cars in the United States.

"The number of pedestrians killed on U.S. roads last year was the highest in 28 years. Using data reported by states, the Governors Highway Safety Association estimates that 6,227 pedestrians were killed in 2018."

Fortunately, I live in a northwestern Illinois farm town where people are civilized. They don't try to kill pedestrians. When I used to live in fucktard Florida, the asshole drivers would threaten pedestrians who didn't get out of their way even though the pedestrian had the right of way. I'm not making this up. Floridians are stupid fucking assholes.

It's completely different here. The drivers are not in a big fucking hurry. They actually wait for the pedestrian to cross the street. There is no horn honking.

Our winter sucks, it's snowing right now, but this is a paradise because everyone is nice instead of being an asshole.
