Catholic bullshit:
Yet more recently, Benedict XVI and his close advisors have apparently endorsed the idea that intelligent design underpins evolution – the idea that natural selection on its own is insufficient to explain the complexity of the world. In 2005, his close associate Cardinal Schoenborn wrote an article saying “evolution in the sense of common ancestry might be true, but evolution in the neo-Darwinian sense – an unguided, unplanned process – is not”.

Translation:
The Magic Man did it.
Religious fucktards, no matter what moronic cult they belong to, can't accept evolution without sticking their Magic Man into it.
Reality: Natural processes do not require a god fairy's magic wand.
An obvious fact: Assholes for Jeebus and Mohammed always either deny human evolution or they stick their fairy into it. They have to do this to defend their childish fantasies.
This is more evidence for the idea that Charles Darwin killed the Magic Man.
Why don't religious scum grow up and face facts? It's a stupidity problem. Also, reality makes them cry.
"Darwin was the first to use data from nature to convince people that evolution is true, and his idea of natural selection was truly novel. It testifies to his genius that the concept of natural theology, accepted by most educated Westerners before 1859, was vanquished within only a few years by a single five-hundred-page book. On the Origin of Species turned the mysteries of life's diversity from mythology into genuine science." -- Jerry Coyne
