Everyday I play chess on the internet. My opponents live in virtually every country in the world. Sometimes I learn a few things about these countries and the people who live there.
I just played a game against an opponent with the internet name "Seichonoie". My opponent's profile had no information but I was curious about the name "Seichonoie" so I looked it up. Google and Wikipedia are my friends.
"Seichonoie" is correctly spelled Seichō no ie or Seichō no Ie. What is "Seichō no ie"?
It's a religion in Japan.
Wikipedia - Seicho-no-Ie
Seichō no Ie (Japanese: 生長の家, "House of Growth"), is a syncretic, monotheistic, New Thought Japanese new religion that has spread since the end of World War II. It emphasizes gratitude for nature, the family, ancestors and, above all, religious faith in one universal God. Seichō no Ie is the world's largest New Thought group. By the end of 2010 it had over 1.6 million followers and 442 facilities, mostly located in Japan.

Gratitude for nature, the family, and ancestors is a good thing.
"Religious faith in one universal God." The word "faith" is a problem. Faith means "bullshit that has no evidence".
"God" is another word for "magic". There is no magic in the universe therefore the god thing is impossible.
This religion is interesting and probably much less insane than Idiot America's disgusting Christian death cults.

Seicho-No-Ie Efforts for Global Environmental Protection
By 2007 Seicho-No-Ie achieved ISO14001 certification of its 66 missionary centers, spiritual training centers and other sites.※1 The Head Office in Tokyo and the Main Temple in Nagasaki acquired certification in July 2001 as the first religious organization in the world to do so. Their local missionary centers and other affiliated facilities in Japan made continuous efforts for 7 years. In 2007, we have started our “Carbon Zero” movement as a new measure. This is to minimize the amount of CO2 emissions that come from Seicho-No-Ie activities, and offset the CO2 emissions through introducing natural energy, contributing to forestation, etc. As a part of this project, in January 2008, we acquired a 5,000 ton CO2 Certified Emission Reductions to offset approximately four years of CO2 emission by the Seicho-No-Ie Headquarters business office in Tokyo; the Seicho-No-Ie Main Temple in Nagasaki; and the Seicho-No-Ie Uji Temple in Kyoto. These measures are based on Seicho-No-Ie teachings. As stated in our Environmental Policy, since its foundation in 1930, we have been practicing the Seicho-No-Ie way of life of worshiping all creations such as plants, animals and minerals, as manifestations of Life of God or Buddha based on our teaching of “being grateful to everything in the universe.”
Today, in the face of the global environmental issues, we believe that practicing our Seicho-No-Ie teachings has significant meaning for our times. Based on this conviction, Seicho-No-Ie will continue actively promoting concrete measures for global environmental conservation through widely disseminating the teachings of “all is one.”
"Darwin was the first to use data from nature to convince people that evolution is true, and his idea of natural selection was truly novel. It testifies to his genius that the concept of natural theology, accepted by most educated Westerners before 1859, was vanquished within only a few years by a single five-hundred-page book. On the Origin of Species turned the mysteries of life's diversity from mythology into genuine science." -- Jerry Coyne
