| The area roughly considered to constitute the Bible Belt |
Virtually everyone in the Bible Belt in the Deep South is a know-nothing bible-thumping evolution-denier. This is where competent biology teachers can expect to be harassed and threatened if they teach evolution. Science makes the Deep South cry.
I live in south Florida just below the Bible Belt but I see numerous god-soaked idiots. For example across the street from where I live there is a shopping center with a huge area for parked cars. The place has two storefront churches. Everyone brings their bible. The parking lot is always full because one of these churches is open for business every day.
