Two very wealthy people will fly around the moon in 2018 for a substantial deposit.


The last time human apes walked on the moon or orbited the moon was 1972, 45 years ago.

Two space tourists are scheduled to fly around the Moon in a Falcon Heavy rocket, marking the first time that humans have ventured beyond low-Earth orbit since 1972.

In February 2017, Elon Musk announced that substantial deposits from two individuals had been received by Space X for a Moon loop flight using a free return trajectory and that this could happen as soon as late 2018. Musk said that the cost of the mission would be "comparable" to that of sending an astronaut to the International Space Station, about $70 million US dollars in 2017.

Two natural attractions would be available by circumlunar flight or lunar orbit, without landing:
