What Charles Darwin wrote in 1844, 15 years before he published his 1859 masterpiece, On the Origin of Species.

"At last gleams of light have come, & I am almost convinced (quite contrary to opinion I started with) that species are not (it is like confessing a murder) immutable."

Of course long before 1859 Mr. Darwin was convinced he was right and he was convinced natural selection was the mechanism that made the diversity of life possible.

Charles Darwin knew he was changing the world. He knew religious people would cry like babies. But I bet he never imagined the crybabies of the 21st century who still don't understand.
