Sometimes I visit Yahoo Answers at "Society & Culture, Religion & Spirituality". Most of the questions asked and most of the answers are just plain fucking stupid. However sometimes somebody with a brain asks a good question. I liked this one so much I'm saving it here. It's about the loving god of Christianity, aka the Magic Jeebus Man.

Christianity is Too Absolute?

The main reason why I can't be a Christian:

They think that rules are more important than the goodness of a person.

Example 1: A Buddhist monk spends his whole life in a temple, literally does not hurt a fly. Is quiet, calm and peaceful. Teaches his students about love and harmony. Christianity: He will go to hell because he doesn't believe in Jesus. God will make him literally burn *forever* as punishment for not believing in him.

Example 2: A young philanthropist dedicates his entire life to saving the environment and helping the poor. He is kind and generous and helps countless lives for the better. However, he sleeps with his girlfriend of 4 years (whom he is not married to). Christianity: He will go to hell and burn forever. Tortured excruciatingly for an eternity because he slept with one partner who he loved.
