A U.S. District Court in San Francisco said the ban, which was to go into effect late tonight, posed “serious questions” about the First Amendment rights of a group of WeChat users who filed a suit last month. The Trump administration last week issued an order that directed Apple and Google to remove the app from their app stores and ordered other Internet companies not to provide services that would allow people in the United States to access the app. |
