This is a good thing for the environment. Also, when all cars are "zero emissions" the world will be a lot more quiet.

California to require all new cars to be 'zero emissions' by 2035

California, the world’s fifth largest economy and the state that created American car culture, will stop selling new gasoline-powered automobiles within 15 years, Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) announced Wednesday.

The order does not prevent Californians from owning or selling used cars with internal combustion engines, or buying them outside the state.
