"If man evolved from the ape world then why have apes stopped changing into human beings? If apes once had that intelligence to evolve into humans then why did they lose that intelligence?"
About 6 million years ago some ancient apes became separated from each other. One group evolved to become today's chimpanzees. The other group evolved to become human apes. We live in different environments and that's why chimps are still chimps. We evolved differently because of our different environments.
One more thing. This is called speciation.
Google search: Speciation, the formation of new and distinct species in the course of evolution. Speciation involves the splitting of a single evolutionary lineage into two or more genetically independent lineages.
"Darwin was the first to use data from nature to convince people that evolution is true, and his idea of natural selection was truly novel. It testifies to his genius that the concept of natural theology, accepted by most educated Westerners before 1859, was vanquished within only a few years by a single five-hundred-page book. On the Origin of Species turned the mysteries of life's diversity from mythology into genuine science." -- Jerry Coyne

A answered a dumb question about evolution and this time I was very nice. It was a misconception I have seen many times before. Science education sucks in Idiot America.
