Why do religious fundamentalists try to force Creationism into the science classrooms?
You never hear of scientists knocking on the doors of churches and trying to force science in Sunday school. Why? Because scientists know that we live in a free country and therefore know that people are free to believe what they want to believe, even if it is crazy or contrary to reality.

Truth into classrooms? What a concept.... or at least intellectual honesty -- rightly calling evolution a theory, not a fact... and also allowing students to know of other theories out there... umm creation... .sure absolutely.
Teaching truth is teaching truth, it's what the classroom is supposed to be doing. Teaching evolution as an absolute fact is being dishonest. It's not indoctrination to inform students that there are other views and theories out there, and if they can't prove these things wrong, then they should at least bring them up. Why force students to believe that the theory of evolution is something factual, even above other theories? How is this intellectually honest? It is not -- it is bias -- and it keeps other possibilities from people. People widely believe and accept evolution due to indoctrination. Liberals claim to be open-minded, but they are the most intolerant to examining other's views. Yet I could tell you more about other religions than many of them can. If anything, kids in American public schools are kept from information, and that is not education. If we are a free country as you say, why isn't all of the information being presented?
