Jehovah’s Witnesses
"If evolution is true, life has no lasting purpose. If creation is true, we can find satisfying answers to questions about life and the future."
"If humans evolved from animals—from apes, for example—why is there such a huge gap between the intellectual abilities of humans and those of apes?"
••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
Evolution is true. We evolved from ancient apes and we are still apes. This is one of the strongest facts of science. There is no debate about it.
Life has no lasting purpose? Even if that's true (it's bullshit) that doesn't change our evolutionary relationship with the other ape species.
A huge gap between the intellectual abilities of human apes and chimpanzee apes?
Since the common ancestors of human apes and chimpanzee apes became separated about 7 million years ago, we evolved differently in our different environments. The ancestors of humans evolved to have a larger brain. The ancestors of chimpanzees evolved to be much stronger. 7 million years is a long time. Also, chimps are very intelligent. They know how to make tools to get food. And unlike most people in Idiot America they can think.
"If humans evolved from animals" These fucktards think humans are not animals. They think we are completely separate from the rest of nature. This is a big part of religious brainwashing, aka child abuse.
I know a Jehovah’s Witness fucktard. Every time he sees me, he tries to sell his moronic cult. The next time I see him (which is usually when I'm walking to or from the grocery store) I'm going to tell him why evolution is true therefore his cult is bullshit. I will accomplish nothing. Extreme stupid can't be fixed. But at least he will understand why he's wasting his time when he tries to convince me to throw out all of reality.
There are millions of idiots in Idiot America. I often wonder what it's like to live in a normal country, a country not infested with anti-science morons.
"Darwin was the first to use data from nature to convince people that evolution is true, and his idea of natural selection was truly novel. It testifies to his genius that the concept of natural theology, accepted by most educated Westerners before 1859, was vanquished within only a few years by a single five-hundred-page book. On the Origin of Species turned the mysteries of life's diversity from mythology into genuine science." -- Jerry Coyne
