Three cheetahs vs one ostrich. Guess who wins.

At a Chicago museum I was able to compare the fossil of a small dinosaur to the skeleton of an ostrich. Everything about these two creatures was virtually the same. It was obvious to me ostriches (and all other birds) evolved from the one branch of dinosaurs that didn't go extinct.

Why does the cheetah run faster than any other land animal? This is the result of an evolutionary arms race.

The ostrich is dangerous. With one kick it can damage or kill a cheetah. And ostriches are huge. It takes 3 cheetahs to bring one down.

These cheetahs have the intelligence to figure out how they can work together to earn a huge meal. I would rather go to the grocery store and buy a dead farm animal.
