What I wrote for some Christian fucktards about their ridiculous fear of evolution.

"A century ago, the nation’s best-known evangelical was William Jennings Bryan, who ran unsuccessfully as the Democratic nominee for president in 1896, 1900 and 1908. Bryan was often ridiculed by the intellectual elites of his era, who especially picked on his opposition to the theory of evolution."

More than a century ago virtually all Americans were creationists. These days according to the most recent Gallup Poll only 38% of Americans want to throw out evolution.

Who are those 38%? Most of them probably call themselves evangelicals.

This is unfortunate because children are being brainwashed to be anti-science. There is no excuse for it. It only takes one second to google "wikipedia evidence for evolution" where thousands of evidences are explained with numerous links to other websites with more evidence for it.

Does evolution threaten Christian beliefs? Probably yes but that's no excuse to throw out basic facts of science like evolution.
