I wrote a few things there including this:

I think you were a victim of religious indoctrination, aka brainwashing, aka child abuse.

Question: We know Genesis is nonsense. So why pretend anything else in the bible is real (for example the numerous magical miracles which are ridiculous)?

I suggest a lot of it is wishful thinking, especially the magical heaven fantasy which is totally impossible.
