"you must believe and not doubt"
This is what makes science incompatible with religions. Scientific progress is made possible by doubt, and the word "believe" does not belong in science. Evidence is required for everything.
Religions require zero evidence. That's why they use the word "faith", which is believing in things like the magical resurrection even though it's impossible.
Atheism is the acceptance of reality. Theism is the acceptance of fantasy. Take your pick.
