Serious question for Christians: How would you handle this?
My son also says he is bi-sexual and I told him, in my anger, that many bi-sexual and gay people deny God because they fear going to hell if there is one.
I really don't want to make the problem worse but I truly feel he is in danger of damnation and feel desperate to help him avoid that fate. I did tell him this when I apologized for being angry, which caused him to soften some, but how would you, as a Christian, handle this?
No smart remarks from atheists or masters of sarcasm will be appreciated. If I find your answer abusive, I will report you. Thanks to all Christians who respond.
That's not good enough. To be normal he has to be an atheist.
"If I find your answer abusive, I will report you."
What's abusive, report monkey? If somebody makes you cry, is that abuse or are you just a crybaby?
You just got blocked by the way.
"he is in danger of damnation"
This is a typical example. Religion makes people insane.
How terrible that your brainwashing, aka child abuse, didn't work.
By the way, your son is probably too nice to tell you this, but most certainly he thinks you're an idiot.
