At a website I won't advertise an idiot wrote "Only a tiny minority of Christians believe in the 'Young Earth' argument. Most have no problem reconciling science with their beliefs."
I don't know if this person is a Christian or even worse somebody who sucks up to Christians, but he is wrong about everything.
Since when did the 46% of Americans who believe the young-earth insanity become a tiny minority?
Christians have no problem reconciling science with the resurrection of the magic Jeebus man into a zombie? Really?
I notice the "moderate" Christians are constantly sticking their dead Jeebus into evolution, to invent or use or guide it. The problem with that childish fantasy is science doesn't need supernatural magic.
Christians seem to be unable to leave evolution alone. Christians are idiots but they have figured out the religious implications of evolution, and that's why they either deny the whole thing or they stick their fairy into it. Whether they deny evolution or pollute evolution they look like cowardly idiots.
Except in the most backward countries the Christian death cult is dying. Even in Idiot America the younger generations are throwing out Jeebus. One century from now Christians will be found only in the insane asylums where they belong.
That's the way it should be now because it's been 153 years since Darwin's On the Origin of Species. Perhaps the problem is Christian assholes are winning their war against science education. They always lose in court but they have successfully dumbed down science education thanks to their intimidation of biology teachers. Please see These cowardly Christian assholes harassed, threatened, and yelled at an elderly female biology teacher.
"Darwin was the first to use data from nature to convince people that evolution is true, and his idea of natural selection was truly novel. It testifies to his genius that the concept of natural theology, accepted by most educated Westerners before 1859, was vanquished within only a few years by a single five-hundred-page book. On the Origin of Species turned the mysteries of life's diversity from mythology into genuine science." -- Jerry Coyne
