I'm one of the 3.7 million Republicans who voted for President Obama in 2008. I regret voting for him. I won't make the same mistake in 2012.
In 2008 the choice was between Barack Obama who obviously was brilliant, and John McCain who obviously was an idiot. To prove his idiocy John McCain chose Sarah Palin to be his vice president. Sarah Palin is god-soaked wacko. I should have voted for McCain anyway.
I voted for Obama for many reasons. Obama is pro-science. For example, unlike most Republicans, Obama is not an evolution denier. He doesn't even stick god into evolution like many Christian tards like to do. Also, Obama is more likely than any Republican to protect the environment and endangered species. Perhaps most important of all, I thought it would be wonderful to have an American president who has ancestors from Africa. After our long history of slavery and discrimination against African Americans, here was America's opportunity to show the world we have grown up. Not long ago nobody could have imagined a black American president and now it could become a reality.
If I knew then what I know now I would have never voted for Obama. Something happened that I had never before imagined would be possible. Our President of the United States who I voted for had the nerve to take away from Americans a basic human right. The right to spend our hard-earned money any way we want to. Obama threw this human right out the window. He successfully passed legislation (which to everyone's surprise was ruled constitutional by our Supreme Court) that makes it possible for our federal government (which works for us) to make a spending decision for us, or else we are punished with a special penalty tax. Obama wants to punish Americans who want to exercise their human right to spend their money any way they want. Obama has forced us to buy health insurance. America has been an independent country for more than two centuries and never once in our history has an American president taken away from us our basic right to spend our money only on what we want.
When ObamaCare was being developed by Obama's minions in congress, I thought this would be a waste of taxpayer money but I didn't care. I would just have nothing to do with it. I don't have health insurance because I don't need it. Paying health insurance premiums would be a complete waste of money for me because I have rarely had any need for a doctor, and when I did need a doctor I would use my credit card and I would pay off that credit card. Obama would call me a freeloader. That's bullshit because I have never missed a payment in my entire life. I pay my bills.
President Obama wants me to subsidize fat slobs who smoke, drink, eat cake every chance they get, and never exercise. I have an extremely healthy lifestyle so why should I pay for the medical care of cigarette addicts? Fuck off Obama. I'm not going to vote for you again because I don't like assholes and you're a world-class asshole.
Obama has another serious problem. While our terrible unemployment problem is not getting any better our president has been doing everything he possibly can to make it worse. Every time he says "I want to raise taxes on wealthy people" the hard working owners of America's most successful small businesses, the Americans who create the most jobs in this country, notice their president wants to steal their money and they decide to either stop hiring or they start firing people. How can small business owners plan for the future (planning that often includes hiring) when their president keeps attacking them? Obama is not qualified to lead our capitalist country because he knows nothing about capitalism. President Obama is incompetent.
"Darwin was the first to use data from nature to convince people that evolution is true, and his idea of natural selection was truly novel. It testifies to his genius that the concept of natural theology, accepted by most educated Westerners before 1859, was vanquished within only a few years by a single five-hundred-page book. On the Origin of Species turned the mysteries of life's diversity from mythology into genuine science." -- Jerry Coyne
