This is why ridiculous religious fantasies don't go extinct.

The Magic Jeebus Man said, "I am the Magic Man." To prove it he performed magic tricks like the magical resurrection and walking on water. Why do people believe this bullshit?

People are led to believe Christian lies as children. They think their elders confirmed it all, but actually, their elders were fooled in the same way. The process repeats with each generation.

Because the Bible says so, so it must be true.

For the life of me I fail to understand, especially in this day and age, how people can take a book that is at it's core nothing more than a collection of ancient Hebrew mythology and folklore,,, written by multitude of individuals that had nothing more than what we today would consider a third grade education at best,,, compiled by a committee that argued for days as to what should be included and what shouldn't be included,,, put together some three hundred years after the fact,,, a book that loses in translation, loses over time,,, is interpreted many different ways by many different people,,, has been used to justify all manner of cruelty against fellow man,,, and this,,, this they hold up as the written word of God,,,, why would a God even need a written word anyway.

And yes, I feel the same about the Quran,,, and all so called religious texts for that matter.
