Human apes

There is a misconception about evolution I see a lot. Someone wrote about human apes developing from "lower primates" as if we were the pinnacle of evolution.

There are no lower primates. There is no lower anything. There is no pinnacle. We are not the pinnacle of anything. Other creatures evolved just as much as we have. They just filled a different niche.

Human apes are just one small twig on a vast tree of life.

We are, by the way, the worst thing that ever happened to this planet. We have been destroying Earth and the problem is getting worse.

I'm not suggesting throw out the human race because I belong to it. However, it would so nice if stupid fucking assholes didn't go out of their way to destroy nature and wipe out entire species.

One of the problems is the Christian scum who think we are completely separate from nature. This is god-fairy bullshit. We are part of nature. When we destroy nature we are destroying ourselves.

This is still a beautiful blue planet. Let's keep it that way.
