8 HOURS OF TERROR

I have been unable to use the internet for the last two weeks because of the time it took for Mayflower to move my stuff from sunny south Florida to freezing cold northwestern Illinois. I got the internet working today, Friday, December 14, 2018.

I have lots of work to do, for example paying my bills. Not that anyone cares, and not that I still have any visitors, but I will be writing about my 8 HOURS OF TERROR eventually.

UPDATE: EIGHT HOURS OF TERROR

On Thursday, November 29, 2018, after flying to Chicago from the Fort Lauderdale Airport, and after taking an Amtrak train to a northwestern farm town, I found my new house which I had never seen before (it's fantastic). Then something terrible happened.

After exploring the house for 3 hours, it was 11:00PM. I walked into the bathroom and closed the door behind me. The door locked. I couldn't get it open. The lock was defective. I was trapped in the bathroom for 8 hours and this was my first night there. Finally at 7:00AM my neighbor could hear me screaming but he was so far away he almost didn't hear me. He followed the noise to where I was. I told him I was locked in my bathroom, please call the police. He called the police and stayed there. He gave the police the tools they needed to get me out. First they tried to get the door open without destroying the door. When that didn't work my neighbor gave the police another thing to ram the door open and that worked. I don't care about the door because I was free. It was a terrible experience but after that everything was wonderful.
