I recently moved from sunny south Florida to a freezing cold farm town in northwestern Illinois. The New York Times does not deliver their newspaper to this place so I got a subscription with the Wall Street Journal. Republicans like to read the WSJ. Republicans also like to worship their magic god fairy.
Yesterday's Wall Street Journal included a book review. The book is about atheism (aka reality). Most of the comments were written by Christian fucktards. Most of these comments made ridiculous claims about science. Science makes morons cry.
I wrote this comment:
•••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
Most of the comments have this idea: I don't understand how this happened therefore god-did-it.
Science hard, hurts brain.
God easy, no think.
"Darwin was the first to use data from nature to convince people that evolution is true, and his idea of natural selection was truly novel. It testifies to his genius that the concept of natural theology, accepted by most educated Westerners before 1859, was vanquished within only a few years by a single five-hundred-page book. On the Origin of Species turned the mysteries of life's diversity from mythology into genuine science." -- Jerry Coyne
