Was the Magic Jeebus Man a real person?
For me it doesn't matter. If the worthless preacher man was real then he was just an uneducated moron, too lazy to get a real job.
There is article about it at PZ's blog. I think this stuff is boring but somebody might be interested in it. Still baffled over the historicity of Jesus stuff

Imagine the stupidity required to suck up to the dead Magic Jeebus Man so cowards can have a magical 2nd life. Hopefully in the 22nd century the moronic Jeebus cult will be thrown out. The dead Jeebus should have been thrown out in 1859 when Charles Darwin published On the Origin of Species.

One more thing: Let's compare the Magic Jeebus Man to Charles Darwin.
Mr. Darwin had the advantage of being a real person. He also had a brain. He could think. He explained an interesting mystery, why does this planet have millions of species? Evolution by natural selection solved the problem. Charles Darwin changed the world with his brilliant ideas.
Meanwhile the Magic Jeebus Man, if he was real, contributed nothing to human progress.
"Darwin was the first to use data from nature to convince people that evolution is true, and his idea of natural selection was truly novel. It testifies to his genius that the concept of natural theology, accepted by most educated Westerners before 1859, was vanquished within only a few years by a single five-hundred-page book. On the Origin of Species turned the mysteries of life's diversity from mythology into genuine science." -- Jerry Coyne
