Auschwitz

I just played two chess games. Both of my opponents live in Poland which is unusual because there's 195 countries in the world.

My first opponent lives in Kraków, Poland which is a beautiful city.

My 2nd opponent lives in Oświęcim, Poland which is also a beautiful city, but there is something unusual and terrible about Oświęcim because it's the site of the Auschwitz concentration camp.

"Historians estimate that between 1940 and 1945, the Nazis sent at least 1.3 million people to Auschwitz. About 1.1 million of these people died or were killed at Auschwitz."

Virtually all these people were murdered because they were Jews. This town is famous for the worst genocide in human history.
