Science explains how the universe works. Religions explain nothing.

A professor of theology is a professor of bullshit. A theologist at the Australian Catholic University made a ridiculous attempt to pretend science and religion are compatible.

To defend his bullshit the Catholic fucktard wrote about religious scientists who "made a significant contribution to our understanding of evolution."

Religious scientists are rare but they exist. When they contribute something to science they do this despite their moronic religious fantasies, not because of those fantasies. The existence of religious scientists does not mean science and religions are compatible.

Science explains how the universe works. Religions explain nothing. Religion is just superstition and gullibility. Religion is brain damage.

Here is the bullshit the Catholic fucktard wrote:

While Mike Archer is busy busting myths in his biology courses he should consider busting the myth that religion and science are necessarily opposed.

During his course on evolution does he mention the role played by Gregor Mendel, the Augustinian monk and scientist who discovered the process of genetic inheritance which was to become a key element on the neo-Darwinian synthesis? What about the role of Teilhard de Chardin, the Jesuit priest and archaeologist who helped uncover key evidence on human evolution in the Gobi desert?

These men of God were also men of science and made a significant contribution to our understanding of evolution. Or is Archer just seeking to replace one failed ideology (creationism) with another that thinks that all religion is just superstition and gullibility?
