What is it about evolution that makes Christians want to deny it or even worse invoke magic to explain it?

No other branch of science makes Christian crybabies cry like babies. They only fear evolutionary biology. Why are Christians so afraid one of the most interesting and most important facts of science?

They either completely deny the whole thing or they stick their god fairy in there somewhere, to invent or use or guide evolution, as if supernatural magic was a mechanism of evolution. What's the problem Christians?
