It was the middle of the night. Nobody was on the beach. It was warm. It was extremely windy. We were getting some rain. It was very dark. All lights were out because this is turtle nesting season. The ocean was making a lot of noise. Huge waves repeatedly crashed on to the beach.
It was wonderful.
