GALLUP POLITICS Election 2012 Trial Heat: Obama vs. Romney Among registered voters

In 2008 I voted for Obama because he's very intelligent and because I thought the 2008 election was a rare opportunity to have an American president whose ancestors lived in Africa. Perhaps not necessarily good reasons to make a voting decision but the alternative (McCain and Palin) was brain-dead theocratic stupid.

In 2012 I'm going to vote for Romney because I'm an economic conservative and because I don't much care for Obama's war against successful people, also known as rich pigs. I plan to be a rich pig some day and I don't want my hard work to be punished with the excessive taxes Obama wants.

Obama used to be way ahead in the polls but now it looks like it might be an extremely close election. Romney might win despite the fact nobody likes him.
