Chicago

Today's news:

"Chicago has seen an explosion in violence this summer. There were 116 murders over the 28 days through July 19, an increase of nearly 200 percent, police department data shows."

I lived in Chicago for a long time. I'm not going back there.

Where I live these days (a northwestern Illinois farm town) we have zero violence every year. Nobody gets killed. The people are nice. I never lock my doors.
