"There is no direct evidence of evolution, just assumptions based on hypothesis, based on guesses based on a flimsy set of facts that are not exclusive to evolution. Whereas Creation has evidence of BILLIONS of observed natural births producing EXACTLY the same species."

Instead of ignoring this idiot and instead of pointing the obvious fact he's an uneducated moron, I tried to be nice and I explained why evolution is how the world works.
Did being nice accomplish anything? Of course not. Extreme Idiot-America-Stupid can't be fixed.
But maybe several years from now the bible thumper will wake up in the middle of the night and wonder if he's wrong about everything.
What I wrote wasn't very good. A biologist would have done a better job, but what I wrote was good enough.
Here it is:

I agree with you. Every time a creature is born it's the same species. However, as you know, the creature is not identical to the parents. If that difference helps that creature to survive long enough to reproduce, that advantage, over thousands of generations, can gradually become a new species.
A good example is whales. Their ancestors used to live on land but would hunt for food in the ocean. It took 10 million years of natural selection selecting for small advantages to find and kill the creatures they needed to survive. Thousands of generations. We have evidence for all this stuff.
One more thing. It wouldn't kill you to read one of the books I recommended. Or you could google "wikipedia evolution of whales". Science is very interesting. You don't know what you're missing.
When we no longer look at an organic being as a savage looks at a ship, as something wholly beyond his comprehension; when we regard every production of nature as one which has had a long history; when we contemplate every complex structure and instinct as the summing up of many contrivances, each useful to the possessor, in the same way as any great mechanical invention is the summing up of the labour, the experience, the reason, and even the blunders of numerous workmen; when we thus view each organic being, how far more interesting - I speak from experience - does the study of natural history become!

"Darwin was the first to use data from nature to convince people that evolution is true, and his idea of natural selection was truly novel. It testifies to his genius that the concept of natural theology, accepted by most educated Westerners before 1859, was vanquished within only a few years by a single five-hundred-page book. On the Origin of Species turned the mysteries of life's diversity from mythology into genuine science." -- Jerry Coyne
